Boris Eifman presents the play "Rodin, Her Eternal Idol" in Chelyabinsk

In the second half of NovemberThe Boris Eifman Ballet Theater will visit a number of Russian cities as part of a major tour dedicated to its 45th anniversary, where it will delight the public with its best productions.

In the first days of winter, guests and residents of Chelyabinsk will be able to watch the ballet "Rodin, Her Eternal Idol" - a story of tragic love and all-consuming passion of two talents, great sculptors - Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel. The master's student, his beloved, repeatedly inspired him to create world masterpieces. Mutual feelings lived for 15 years, and then a tragic fate awaited them. The breakup led to irreversible consequences: the woman suffered a mental breakdown. Her mind drew scenarios of a universal conspiracy against her, while she blamed Rodin for everything. Half-forgetfulness and suffering, isolation from others, unceasing pain and hatred for the once beloved man led to her death.

The performance "Rodin, Her Eternal Idol" is a story about the high price in the fate of artistic geniuses, an exploration of human feelings and experiences, told to the public in the plastic language of dance.
