On September 27, the N.S. Mikhalkov Academy of Cinematographic and Theatre Arts and the Cinema House will hold a special screening of the ballet film Tender Is the Night, a screen version of the famous play Up & Down based on the novel by F.S. Fitzgerald.

The filming of the famous ballet film by Boris Eifman Tender Is the Night took place in St. Petersburg in 2016. This play is a tragic and at the same time dazzlingly bright chronicle of the spiritual death of a person. The story of how an eternal dream of happiness turns into a collapse, and an outwardly beautiful and carefree life, flowing to the rhythms of jazz, turns into a nightmare.
